152 Facebook Friends On A Womens ARM [VIDEO]

Some people feel a close bond with their Facebook friends, but Susy J. from The Netherlands clearly thinks much more of that friendship as seen in this video that’s exploding across the web.

The shocking YouTube video documents the process in which Susy gets the profile photos of 152 of her Facebook friends tattooed on her right arm, each one carefully detailed to reflect their current avatar image. I guess unfriending anyone will require a bit more than the click of a mouse.

While the end result is quite colorful and orderly-looking, we gotta ask — would YOU ever tattoo your Facebook friends on your body? Chime in below in the comments section!

Unborn Baby Joins Facebook; Has More Friends Than You [VIDEO]

Everyone and their grandma have a Facebook nowadays, right? Well, things just got a little more inclusive for the social network, which is now hosting the first-ever profile for a fetus.

Marriah Greene, who has not been born yet, has found her way online and is building quite the fanbase. The idea was that of her parents, Matt and Ellie Greene of Whitehouse, Texas, who serve as the moderators to Marriah’s Facebook page.

Initially, the thought behind the profile was simply to keep friends and family up to date on the pregnancy. The Greenes’ thought it would be a “playful” way to tell everyone what was going on. Noting as the baby-to-be some clever statuses: “I am quite the kicker,” “Studied Labor and Delivery at Tummy University”, and “Swimming, swimming, just keep swimming.”
As of June 1st, 2011, Marriah actually had over 350 friends – of both close friends and relatives. However, word had spread across the information superhighway and, on June 3rd, the profile page was converted into a Facebook group – allowing thousands to keep up-to-date on Marriah’s every moment until the conception.
Check out her Facebook group to get the most up to date information on Marriah’s birth and join the group.

OMG! My life is better than yours!!!!

You may or may not know that I quit Facebook several months ago. I do not miss it. At. All. Last week my mom, Mary,  wanted to show me some pictures posted on her FB of her and my step-dad dancing (my mom is waaaay into country dancing), so she gave me her login info.

(just for fun, here is a picture of my mom and Eric dancing)

So for the first time in months, I got on Facebook (or as Matt calls it "Divorcebook").

Even though most of my mom's friends are weirdos from her church and I am less than interested in knowing what they are doing, curiosity got the better of me and I scrolled through the posts.

This little particular gem (accompanied by about a million pictures) caught my attention: (this was posted by a relative).

Missing Maui, 2 weeks in paradise was not enough. I can only post these because we are leaving for Paris, Monte Carlo & St. Tropez in a week so its not too depressing. :' (

Tell me: Is that normal behavior for a 40 year old woman? LOL. OMG!  I am tagging her as an idiot. I hope she gets poked (in the eye).

 ************************************************************************

In other important world news, Kelley over at Kelley's Breakroom tagged me on her blog.  Since I know you are dying to get to know more about me, I am playing along. Well sort of.  I only feel like answering 2 questions.

What song reminds you of a childhood memory?

RUN DMC-- "Mary, Mary, why you buggin?"

Get it?  That is my mom's name.  HAHA and that is the ring tone for her on my cell phone. When she calls me, I let it ring for a while so I can do a litte dance.

In case you forgot or are too young to remember, check it out. Hilarious.

"We is aerobaciscing"

Oh, and there was "ITS TRICKY" by you guessed it RUN DMC. I love that song. Oh and who could forget "YOU BE ILLIN."

Damn they don't make good rap anymore.

One very vivid memory I have from high school is getting high as a kite with my friend Dana and lying on the floor in the dark listening to Thomas Dolby "ONE OF OUR SUBMARINES."  (We still laugh about that 25 years later).

Trust me that song is much better if you are high. (for some reason I  can't embed the video. Damn you Dolby).

UPDATE: Speaking of old skool rap,  I  had to include a favorite rap song from  early college. One day I was watching this video and Chase was all "WHAT THE??? " It is awesome! I still know all the words : )

I really hope to find an occasion where I can revisit those dance moves.

Favorite Movie Quote?

That would be from the quotable and hilarious movie STRIPES.

Psycho: The name's Francis Soyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.
Leon: Ooooooh.
Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. And I don't like nobody touching my stuff. So just keep your meat-hooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. Also, I don't like nobody touching me. Now, any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.
Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

I love to say "Lighten up Francis" when someone is wiggin on me.  I also like to say "touch my stuff and I'll kill you." That was great to use on my siblings back in the day when I was listening to RUN DMC.

Side note:  When I met Matt,  at around our third date, he used the "lighten up Frances" line on someone in front of me. I knew it was True Love in the making!

Welcome to Denver. Now Die.

I love Colorado. Really I do. But I gotta tell you, it is a strange place. "Mile high" does not refer to the altitude of Denver, if you know what I mean. Love, art and legalized weed. It is all good.

So just assume you are in charge of procuring a WELCOME sculpture for Denver International Airport. You want something that says:  "This is our home. We hope you love our beautiful city and state."  This is probably what comes to mind right?

You can't really tell from the picture, but this guy is as scary as Lindsay Lohan behind the wheel.  He looks ready to call the hounds of hell to escort him back home. I literally do a little jump every time I see him.

To make matters worse the sculptor who designed and crafted him was KILLED by the damn thing.  Yes, he was stabbed by this monstrosity. Bluecifer hates itself so much it severed an artery of its creator, Luis Jiminez.  Don't Believe Me? Click here.

Trust me there is a lot of protest regarding this sculpture and there is even a Facebook page devoted getting rid of him.  By the way, did I tell you I deactivated Facebook to avoid "drama?" Then some people thought I had unfriended them and I felt bad so I got back on to send a message to most of my friends just to let them know that I had deactivated my FB due to drama and I hadn't unfriended anyone. Well what happened? Drama.   I got all these e-mails saying "I am so sorrry"  oh no poor me.  So I unintentionally created drama trying to prevent drama. The funniest part of it all is that by quitting Facebook, people acted like I was diagnosed with a tumor or told I was being deployed to Iraq or something. It was a tragedy! HaHa.

Back to the lunacy in Denver. This week, the God of the Dead joins Bluecifer in terrifying DIA visitors.

This is Anubis, the Egyptian God of mummies and such.  Supposedly he is just visiting the airport to let people know about the King Tut exhibit at the Denver Museum of Art. He has not killed anyone as far as I know,  but he is holding some sort of impaling device. So watch out if you are coming to Colorado.

And FINALLY, for my mother-in-law, because your kid is never too old for a party (o.k. it was just the two of us).

We had some cake. South Beach un-friendly.

Someone looks thrilled to be getting power tools (hint hint). Matt's response: "This is not a pony!"

Have a great weekend!

Busy, Busy!

Doetzen Kroes by Mario Testino

We've been pretty busy lately, so this post is going to be short. Or perhaps it was just a good excuse to share this cool picture by Mario Testino!
We'd like to think a short post is better than no post!

We thought it would be nice to leave you with some pleasant lingerie images as you go off to enjoy the weekend. Perhaps the top photo indicates a look you will be doing while hanging out in your kitchen? We must say it's a cute way of doing the lingerie with high-heels look.
Each of the photos in this post are by Swedish photographer Martin Lidell.
