Mac Soiree nail polish from the Cham pale range

Hi everyone, a little late posting this post, sorry. Not been to well with the dreaded flu like bug (poor me) and have been nursing myself better.

Anyway Macs latest Ltd edition reange was cham pale I got three things, two paint pots and one nail polish in Soiree, which is a very pale gold colour.

At first I wasnt too keen as it seemed a very pale gold, but I have to say its now grown on me.

One thing I did find is I took it off tonight and it seemed stubborn, it really didnt want to come off, weird, not sure if any one else has had the same prob.

Anyway thought ide post a few pics here of the varnish.

By the way, have you seen the new Mac Ltd edition range coming out in Feb I think, its wonder woman, and I cant wait, being a sucker for cute packaging and remembering wonder woman when I was a child lol, then im sure to love it.

Girls with attitude nail art

Hi everyone. I was sent these nail art stickers etc for review purposes by Girls with Attitude recently. I am going to be posting a revue on these soon as they look so pretty in fact I cant wait to using them and letting my imagination run wild.

On first look they look very pretty and fool proof to use, they sent me three samples including the little stones. And you can also use them on your toes and that would look so pretty for the summer or the party season.

Cher LLoyd animal print nails X factor

Hi, love her or hate her Cher Lloyd an x factor finalist is certainly in the public eye at the moment, and if you saw last weeks performance you might of noticed her quirkey animal print nails.

I had already heard that OPI were the providers of the nail polish worn on stage by the finalists and I love OPI as they have such an amazing amount of shades to chooses from including their cute names as well.

So it came as no suprise to me to learn this, however I did wonder how they had done the animal print desighn.

I used OPI oh so glam and went over it with Barry M nail effects it was really easy to do, not bad for a first attempt.

Shopping trip to Derby cheaper make up brands

On a recent Christmas shopping trip to Derby I picked up some lovely things I went in to Evans where they had a sale on so I got a pair of boots and shoes and a couple of tops. I also went into Lush and got a few gorgeous goodies and looked at the Christmas goodies too.
Then I found a shop in the Westfield Centre called Dazzle as soon as I saw that they had got make up and bags and other girly glitzy goodies I was drawn in.
Well I was like a kid in a sweet shop, they had a shop brimming with make up and handbags, the handbags were gorgeous mostly copies of desighner brands but gorgeous.
Recently someone said to me that they couldnt understand why people bought cheap cosmetics, and if your one of those people, well think again as I have a selection here for your perusal and I love em.

The make up they had were some brands I had heard of like Revlon, Boujouir etc and some ide heard of but not taken much notice of like W7.
I bought a boujouire mascara ive tried it and its brill. Set of false nails by girls with attitude, a revlon highlighter, two sinful nail colours a w7 eyeshadow and blush. The false eyelashes in pic are from Boots.
I was a little sceptical about w7 as its very cheap at just £1.50 for an eyeshadow, however I was pleasantly suprised as the colour pay off is amazing, very buttery and highly pigmented. They had these in a huge array of colours so I might get some more.
Staying with w7 I also got a blusher in pretty pink again highly pigmented very pretty pink, and teamed up with the Revlon highlighter looks a treat.

                                                                                

      

Next is the Sinful nail polish im loving these as the colours are awesome and they dont chip easily

Mac rain of flowers nail polish

I purchased this pretty nail polish on a recent visit to my Mac store. I originally went for something else of which they had sold out, but this little beauty caught my eye.

Its a pretty polish called Rain of flowers and when you see it in the bottle it looks like a very deep blue with tiny flecks of a lighter blue/purple but when its on it is actually more of a deep purpley blue.

Only down side I found is that drying time seems longer with Mac polishes for some reason, and it started to chip on 2nd day even with two coats of it and a top gloss coat.

Still a gorgeous colour though none the less, and appears to be popular as I had the last one from my store.
