Pop Singer Mariah Carey join X Factor!

U.S singer Mariah Carey is set to assist Simon Cowell at the judge's houses rounds of US 'X Factor'.

The X Factor creator said back in April that Carey would have a small part in the U.S. show premiering in September, but now she may be headed for a more substantial, full-time gig with the reality competition

However, 42-year-old Sinitta - who previously dated Brad Pitt - is not happy with the decision.

She told the Daily Star newspaper: 'Well, let's just say feathers will fly if Mariah takes my spot. Although she is a mega diva vocally, you can expect another 'X Factor' USA drama. I won't just roll over and take it. I hope she can run in high heels.'

In April, Simon spoke of his desire to have Mariah involved with the programme, but admitted he was unsure in what capacity.

He said: 'I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows. I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with

The audition stages of the 'The X Factor' are currently taking place, with British singer Cheryl Cole sensationally sacked from the programme after taking part in just four episodes, to be replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

Simon Cowell conocido por ser muy directo en sus comentarios, opino sobre la canción de Rebecca Black diciendo que tiene algún parecido con 'Saturday Night' de Whigfield. Sin embargo, Simon Cowell no puede evitar elogiar a la joven de 13 años.

Simon comenta; 'Nunca había visto que algo causara tanta controversia. Pienso que es un genio. El hecho de que todos se molesten causa histeria. Cualquier canción que tenga que ver con el fin de semana, es molesta'.

'Me recuerda a 'Saturday Night', ¿no recuerdad esa canción de Whigfield? Es lo que llamamos 'canción de secadora de cabello' (canciones que las chicas cantan al areglarse)... El hecho de que esté haciendo enojar a tanta gente es brillante', agregó.

Puede que muchos se burlen de Rebecca, pero el hecho es que ella esta ganando a la semana $27 mil dolares, solamente por una cancion, sin ningun tipo de publicidad mas que el de las redes sociales como Youtube  y Twitter.
