Usually the most impressive lip dub videos on the web feature fancy production values and epically choreographed camera work. But since the U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan don't have a ton to work with and they're a wee bit busy trying not to get blown up, their new clip set to Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" is mostly built on heart. And Spears, for one, is totally feeling it. "I am in LOVE with this," Britney tweeted last night with a YouTube link. "I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do."
While the soldiers' willingness to boogie in fatigues to the song's dubstep breakdown indicates true Spears fandom, their inability to spell her name correctly ("Music by Brittney Spears") suggests their copy of Femme Fatale may have been baking in the desert sun a little too long. Big ups to the guy at the 1:00 mark who starts to strip off his jumpsuit and threatens to krump, the hip-swishing duo at 1:15 who keep the energy up between verses, and all the awesome lady Marines who bring a little extra commitment to their parts. If we said we almost preferred this to the song's official video, would you...
